Pay structure dashboard

A working model, not a picture of one. Move the controls and every figure below recalculates. It arrives loaded with a fictional company of 24 people so you can see it running before you put your own numbers in.

Runs entirely offline. Nothing you type here leaves this machine.

Overlap is not a control. You set the width and the step. The overlap then follows, and that is the part most structures never notice.

Compa ratio is salary divided by midpoint. One means the person sits exactly on the midpoint of their grade. This is not a pay equity test. Two people can both sit inside their range and still be paid unfairly relative to one another. That is a different piece of work and this file does not attempt it.

Use your own data

Paste two columns: grade and base salary. One person per line, separated by a comma, a tab or a space. A reference and a location are optional. Nothing is uploaded, because there is nowhere for it to go.
